Strawberry Pizza

A sweet, tasty take on pizza, from Plant City, the winter strawberry capital of the world.

  • 1 1/2 cup self rising flour
  • 1 cup margarine
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 8oz of cream cheese whipped topping
  • 3/4 cup confectioner’s sugar
  • 3oz strawberry jello
  • 1 cup water
  • dash of salt
  • 4 Tbs cornstarch
  • 4 cups sliced strawberries

Mix and press on a pizza pan. Back for 15 minutes at 400deg. Mix cheese and sugar, fold in topping and spread on cooled crust. Mix jello, 1/2c water, dash of salt, sugar, dissolve cornstarch in 1/2c water-stir into jello mixture, cook, stirring until thickened. Add berries and spread over cream cheese topping. Cool in refrigerator.
