What to expect when you arrive 2020

If you’re planning  a trip to the Fox Squirrel Corn Maze, we want to help you be prepared and show you how to get the most out of your day.

Before you arrive:

For the 9th annual Corn Maze, we are proud to introduce an online, contactless method of purchasing tickets through our website, www.FoxSquirrelCornMaze.com.  So, before you arrive print out your tickets and have them ready to go when you get here, you must present a ticket.  You’ll also want to pack some sunscreen and wear closed toed shoes as this is an outdoor event. Once you’re packed and ready, head on out to the ranch. You’ll know you’re here when you pull down a dirt road and are immediately surrounded by the incredible beauty that is the Single R Ranch. After parking under our towering oak trees, proceed to the ticket booth and entrance to start your adventure.

When you arrive:

It’s best to arrive early in the morning to experience the corn maze while it’s still cool outside. You can find the “In Heer” sign when you first come in to the left of the entrance. Before entering the maze take a group pic and “check-in” on Facebook. You can also pre-determine a challenge for when you’re in the maze, such as conquering it in under 30 min or trying not to run into more than 6 dead ends. You’ll know you’ve made it when you see the “Eggs-it” sign, this is another great place for a pic and Facebook “Check-in” if you missed the first one.

Next, you’ll want to rest and enjoy a cool drink and great food under the shade while listening to the popular Duck Wallow Lane bluegrass band. (Please check FB for their schedule)  Then, head on over and challenge your friends and family to a game of Corn Hole, the Gigantic Slingshot, Dummy Steer Ropin’, Badminton, a toddler’s hay bale maze,  Duck Races and more.  You’ll also want to take a nice tour around the ranch on our hayride, which is included in the admission price and see if you can spot a Sherman Fox Squirrel.

As you head back towards the front, be sure to take a stroll through our vendors and  their unique items, be ready to buy some things as you won’t be able to resist!  Then pick out and purchase your favorite pumpkin from the pumpkin patch, and enjoy some time on the playground.

After you Leave.

On your way back home, reflect on all of the great memories and experiences the Fox Squirrel Corn Maze has to offer, share your pictures with your friends and family on Social media and tag us. Also be sure to leave us a review, we would love to hear from you.
